CE Course Registration

Continuing Education Course Registration, Refund and Cancellation Policy

Payment MUST be received to process your registration. We accept checks or credit card payment. Please call our office at (919) 966-3638 with a credit card number. To be registered to attend the program, we must receive payment at least five working days before the program. Early registration with payment is strongly encouraged since space is limited. Registration fee includes program materials, credit, lunch and breaks. Confirmation will be sent if application is received 10 days prior to the program.

If your agency is paying for this program, please ensure that payment is provided at least five working days before the program date so you will be officially registered to attend. To ensure your registration is completely processed we recommend that you provide personal payment (by check or credit card) and then request reimbursement from your agency.

Cancellations and requests for refunds will be honored only if received five working days prior to the first day of the program.  A $35 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds. No refunds will be made if cancellation is made less than five working days before the conferenceSubstitutions will be accepted with advance notification and receipt of registration form for the substitute.

The CE department reserves the right to cancel any program not meeting the established minimum enrollment.

Introducing... NEW Agency Group Rates
If 5 or more persons from the same facility/agency register at the same time to attend the same CE program, a 6th person may attend for free.  Please notify us if your agency will use this group rate option.

Summer Research Institute Registration, Refund and Cancellation Policy
Registrations for CE Summer Research Institutes are processed on a first-come/ first-served basis. Space is limited for quality education and early registration is advised.

Registration fees must be paid in full in order to secure a seat.   Partial payment is no longer accepted.  The registration form is available online; however, the fees must be paid via MasterCard or Visa (by calling the CE office at 919-966-3638), or by check.
A letter will be sent to you confirming your registration and reservation. If you do not receive a letter in due time or have further questions, please call 919-966-3638 or email at nursing_ce@unc.edu.
If you need to cancel your registration you must do so by calling or emailing the CE office. If the cancellation is made 31 days or more prior to the start date of the institute, registration fees shall be refunded less a $300 administrative fee. If the cancellation is made 30 days or less prior to the start of the institute, no refund shall be granted. Any costs incurred by the registrant, such as airline penalties, are the responsibility of the registrant.

If you register but are unable to attend, we welcome substitutes. Please call or email the CE office in advance to notify us of this change. The substitute person must complete a registration form for the institute. Depending on space availability, you can switch to another institute. Any difference in registration fees will be due at the time of the switch.
