About Us
The School of Nursing's Continuing Education Program provides opportunities and
resources for nurses with different educational and experiential backgrounds
to maintain and expand their knowledge, skills and competencies to meet their
current and future needs in nursing practice.
Mission
The Continuing Education Program responds to state, regional and national needs
of nurses in clinical practice, nursing education and research. Participants
will receive Continuing Education Credit.
Accreditation
The School of Nursing at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is accredited
as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses' Credentialing
Center's Commission on Accreditation. Upon successful completion of the continuing
education activity, participants are awarded a certificate with designated contact
hours.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Individuals who do not need ANCC contact hours may receive University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
